Actually from this lag thingy...i truly understand that the left arm is the pivoting point. like a a pendulum action. The left arm swing up, clock the wrist and during the down swing towards the target, release the hand towards the ball thus smacking the ball creating the lag action....cont. the triangle action and push toward the club to the flag.....ball straight and long.

Now trying the driver and woods.....but guess the length its longer..... need help...tongue

mmm i bought this swing speed radar...

http://www.amazon.com/Sports-Sensors-Swing-Speed-Radar/dp/B00124P7SI

well not sure about the accuracy but i think is good enough to provide a rough guide for the club head speed in mph...

Now i'm trying to find out how to increase the club head speed of the driver..

Creating lag suppose to increase the club head speed ? and therefore more distance.. if we do it correctly..

I still believe a good swing will help in your distance and swing speed. Suggest to get a swing coach is better.

Hi SteveS,
my buddy got a swing speed radar too which is place behind the golf ball facing out, it captures ball speed to calculate distance, however, I believe it can't identify distance loss due to slice shots, nonetheless, it is good tool. does it measure clubhead speed or ballspeed or both?

generally clubhead speed range 85~110mph for amatuers, ballspeed aro 150mph.
try trackman or simulator for accurate results.

driver distance get most from sweet spot impact where full/high energy transfer happens.
cheers!
