Bro, finally, I realised that club head speed alone does not equal to distance. I also swing around 96mph but my distance only about 200m.

There are many factors - flash factor, launch angle, spin rate & etc.. Very Happy

SD's club head speed of 85mph, about 200m.

If all factors (including swing) blend well and max out, 95mph should give about 250m.

That's correct. All of us witnessed a near perfect swing from the club fitter Sabastian with swing speed around 95mph, launch angle around 15 deg, smash factor 1.48, spin rate 2500 rpm, the end result is distance around 250-260m.

As for me, my swing speed was around 95mph (after warm up), smash factor 1.5, launch angle around 17 deg, spin rate 5000+rpm, so distance only 200m because of spin rate. Hehehe

It can be done by both equipment or swing change. For equipment, look for low spin driver head or high kick (low launch) shaft. For swing change, look for more extension and release the club.

I know why you hit 200m only, becos we use smash factor you use flash factor...

Lucky Seiko haven't seen the thread, otherwise he think you are a flasher...

This thread too sophisticated!

Bro SD & golfernam, my swing very inconsistent! Do u think this fitter can help me to cross 200m for my driver?

Wah result so far very discouraging lay. All this while I thought I'm a swinger. I'm just told that I'm a hitter. Sad

Inconsistency is not a factor preventing one to swing pass 200m. Inconsistency only create inconsistent result. Meaning if u have a properly fitted club, good shot will go pass 200m, bad shot will be all over the place.

Driver fitting will not make an inconsistent player became consistent. It only maximize the total distance if the player hit a good shot. This is my understanding.

IMHO, one should have a more or less stable swing to benefit from club fitting. It has to be stable but not necessary perfect swing. This is so that the fitting done is suited to the players swing which stays constant.

Agreed. Constant swing doesn't mean perfect swing.
